Weird Differences

With over a hundered countries, the world is a very large place. With each country having its own set of customs, the world is also a very diverse place. Read below and you'll see customs from countries around the world that will seem very weird to most Americans.

Spain

In Spain, when a girl greets a girl, or when a boy greets a girl, they kiss each other on the cheek.

Scotland

During a wedding in Scotland, the bride gets the honor of being saturated in eggs, tar, and other messy things. Then, she gets to walk through all of the towns pub's. Seems like fun doesn't it?

England

Every year, in May, on the last Monday a giant race is held on Cooper Hill. Here's the catch: you're racing against a giant wheel of Double Gloucester Cheese! Ok who let the cheese out?

Amazon

In the Amazon Jungle, the Yanomani tribesmen burn the body one of their dead. The ash and bone fragments are then powdered, and eaten by the family of the dead person. Ew.

Greece

In Greece, some people spit on babies three times to ward of evil spirits.  No thanks.
